Standard routes of drug delivery like the oral, intravenous or intra-muscular routes, does not make it possible systematically to achieve a concentration sufficient to treat locally well a disease. Therefore, drugeluting implants based on a polymeric matrix are currently widely utilized in the case of healing stenosis and the interest of modeling their behavior is increasing. Our aim is to study the release behavior of drug-loaded polyurethane samples as drug delivery matrices under in vitro condition with flow-less and steady flow state.
